Getting Started
Overview
Before you can use Apollo Solo USB, you need to complete these steps:
1. Connect Apollo Solo USB to your computer with a USB 3 cable and power on
2. Download and install the latest UAD software
3. Register your Apollo Solo USB hardware
4. Authorize your UAD plug-ins
Additionally, you'll want to learn these essential Apollo Solo USB operations:
• Connect to Input Sources and Monitor System – How to connect your audio gear.
• Setting Hardware Input/Output Levels – Learn how to adjust Mic/Line/Instrument
input gain levels and monitor/headphone output volume levels.

Apollo Solo USB System Requirements
Note: For complete compatibility information, including operating system and
storage requirements, visit help.uaudio.com.
• PC with available built-in* USB 3 SuperSpeed (Type-A or Type-C port)
• Intel Core i-Series or Xeon processor*
• USB 3 cable with Type-C connector (not included)*
• Internet connection to download software and authorize UAD plug-ins
*Notes
• IF-certified USB 3 SuperSpeed cable (Type-A to Type-C, or Type-C to Type-C)
• Quad Core i7 or better recommended for optimum DAW performance
• USB 3 adapters (such as PCIe-to-USB 3 expansion cards) are not tested
• 2-in-1 systems (notebook/tablet) are not recommended
