Hardware System Requirements
The host computer must meet the hardware system requirements below to use Apollo. For software system
requirements, refer to the Apollo Software Manual (see “About Apollo Documentation” on page 7).
Basic audio interface I/O functionality:
Available FireWire 800* or Thunderbolt** expansion port
4 gigabytes available disk space
Internet connection to download Apollo software
UAD-2 and Realtime UAD Powered Plug-Ins functionality:
Internet connection for registration, UAD plug-in authorization, & updates
Compatible VST, RTAS, AAX 64, or Audio Units plug-in host application software
*On Windows systems, a compatible PCIe to FireWire adapter card is required
**Apple Mac computer with available Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 port required
