Using your FOXTEL iQ
Solving problems
Your remote control
isn’t working.
Something is between
the remote control
and your FOXTEL iQ.
Make sure you point your remote control directly at
your FOXTEL iQ and that nothing is between it and
your FOXTEL iQ. The ir receive light on your
FOXTEL iQ’s front panel should flash each time you
press a remote control button.
The batteries are flat
or inserted the wrong
way round.
Check the batteries and replace them if necessary.
Your FOXTEL iQ may
be in ‘loop-through’
mode because you
pressed the av button
(see page 59).
If you want to watch digital TV, press FOXTEL on
your remote control to return to viewing FOXTEL.
You can’t use your
FOXTEL remote
control to operate
your FOXTEL iQ.
Your FOXTEL iQ may
be in ‘loop-through’
mode because you

You’ve forgotten
your PIN.
Call your FOXTEL provider for advice.
You are having
difficulties using a
FOXTEL interactive
feature, such as
Active or Box Office.
There may be a
problem with your
telephone line.
Check that the telephone lead between your
FOXTEL iQ and the telephone point is properly
plugged in. (Always switch your FOXTEL iQ off at
the power supply before plugging or unplugging any
other equipment.)
Check that the telephone line is working by picking
up your telephone and listening for the tone.
