INSTALLATION
1. Adjust the swivel lighting heads up
or down and left to right to direct
light where needed.
2. The lighting head rotation is
limited—Figure 1. Try not to
extend beyond the angle shown;
otherwise it may cause internal mechanical damage.
3. Mount the unit in desired area using the template
attached below. Wall anchors and screws are included
for your convenience. Figure 2.
4. Plug the power adaptor into an AC
outlet and the power adaptor plug
into the night light unit. The night
light unit must be plugged into an
AC outlet to charge the battery.

charge to it’s rated capacity before

NOTE:TheredLEDcharge
indicator will stay lit when the unit
is plugged into the AC power outlet.

OPERATION
NOTE: The on/off switch controls the emergency light only
1. Set the emergency light switch to one of the following:

During an electrical power failure:
a. The lights will automatically come on and last for
approximately 48 hours when the switch is set at

b. The lights will automatically come on and last for
approximately96hourswhentheswitchissetat

2. Set the night light switch to one of the following:
ON—Tomanuallyswitchnightlighton
OFF—Tomanuallyswitchnightlightoff
AUTO—SoftLEDnightlightautomaticallyturnsonat
dark/dusk.
NOTE: Emergency light will provide 80 hours of
continuous lighting for night light
SoftLEDnightlightautomaticallyturnsonatdark/dusk,
orwhenhouseholdlightingisoff.Nightlightautomatically
turns off at dawn, or when household lighting is on.
TESTING
1. Depress and hold the test button located on the front of
the product. The power adaptor must be plugged into
thelightandthebatterycharged.Oneortwoofthe
lights should turn on. When the button is released, the
light(s) will turn off.
2. If the lights do not come on, try one or more of the
following:
a.Unplugandreconnectthepoweradaptorpluginto
thelight.TheRedLEDcharginglightshouldbeon.
b.ConrmtheACoutlethaspower.
c. Press and hold the test button longer.
