CLEAN UNIT & LABELS
Stop the unit and disconnectthe ex-
tensioncord.
Clean the unitusinga damp cloth
with a milddetergenL
Wipe offunitwith a clean dry cloth.

CLEAN COLLECTION BAG
IMPORTANT: THE COLLECTION BAG
MUST BE PROPERLY EMPTIED.
YOUmust properly emptyand main-
tain the collectionbag to avoid dete-
riorationand obstruc_n of airflow.
Stopthe unitand disconnectthe ex-
tensioncord.
Remove the bag and empty after
each use. Do notstore bag without
emptyingthe bag of allcontents.
Wash the bag once a year by turning
inside outand washing with a water
hose. Be sureto letbag dry com-
pletelybefore reusingthe unit.
HOW TO REMOVE AN OBJECT
FROM THE AIR INTAKE
NOTE: If the unit becomes dogged, or
an object is drawn intothe air intake,
stop the unit and disconnectthe exten-
sioncord. Wait untilthe impellerhas
completelystopped turning, then re-
move the vacuumtubes. Carefutty
reach intothe vacuum opening and
clear outthe air intake area.
Inspect the impellerfor cracks. If
cracked or damaged, do not usethe
unit. Have parts replaced by your
Sears Service Center. Do notattempt
to replace them yourself.

Prepare unitfor storage at the end of
the season or if it will not be used for
30 days or more.
WARNING:
Secure the unitbefore storing or
transporting.
Store unitwith aftguards in place.
-Positionunitso that any sharp object
cannot accidentally cause injury.
Store unitwell-outof the-reach of
children.
BLOWER STORAGE
Diso00nect from the power source.
Clean the entire unit.
Open inlet cover and clean any dirt,
grass, ordebris that has collected.
Inspectthe blower and all tubes.
Close end make sure the cover is
latched.
Clean airvents and air inletof debds.
Store your unit and extensioncord in
a well ventilated area and covered, if
possible,to prevent dustand dirt ac-
cumulation. Do notcover with plastic.
Plasticcannot breathe and may
cause condensationand eventual
rust or corrosion.
Check entireunitfor loosescrews,
nuts, and bolts. Replace any dam-
aged, worn, or broken parts.
