Basic Operation
Character entry
Use software keyboard to enter characters.
The software keyboard appears when you tap the entry field
displayed for registering a contact or composing a mail.
Entering characters
The following software keyboards are available for the product.
iWnn IME Mainly used for entering Hiragana/Kanji/Katakana.
There are two types: 10-key and QWERTY
keyboards.
Kanji
Handwriting
(LaLaStroke)
Select a character type to input and write
characters in the handwriting field to input. Multiple
characters including Kanji can be input in one line.
Rapid
Handwriting
(LaLaStroke)
Select a character type to input and write
characters in handwriting field to input
. Character
is recognized per one stroke.

[Kanji]/[Rapid]
Tap "Keyboard" on the handwriting (LaLaStroke) screen to return to the
keyboard used before switching to handwriting input.
You can install an input application to use. Enable the installed application
in "Language & input".
Inputting text with the 10-key/QWERTY
Character entry screen (10-key)
It is a keyboard with characters allocated
in the same order as general cell phones.
Every time you tap the character entry key,
a character is switched.
Or you can use "Flick input". For details,
see "Flick input" (P. 52).
