Geometrix Corner and Edge Assemblies To install GEOMETRIX panels at corners and edges of an assembly, cut an installation clip through the center to remove one or two “legs.

Acoustical Performance Wall-mounted CELEBRATION and GEOMETRIX panels, with perforation and ACOUSTIBOND® backer, can provide signiﬁcant sound absorption (NRC). The following table shows the estimated NRC of a wall-mounted assembly for each shape and depth of GEOMETRIX panel (CELEBRATION panels provide the same acoustical performance as 5/16 GEOMETRIX Flat panels). Note that changing the orientation of individual panels within an assembly to create patterns does not affect the sound absorption.

Limitations Wall Flatness As detailed, the wall should be ﬂat, within about 1/2; any out-of-ﬂat condition will be noticeable along the bottom edge of perimeter trim. With shimming and framing, the wall could be almost any condition, so long as the perimeter appearance can be made subjectively acceptable. Wall Applications The systems described here are for wall applications only. CELEBRATION and GEOMETRIX panels should not be installed as a ceiling using wall-mount hardware.
