1 System Menu
key
Press this key when operating the System
Menu.
2 Counter key Press this key when checking the number of
copies to print or number of originals to read.
3 Print indicator The Print indicator blinks when the machine is
printing.
4 Send indicator The Send indicator blinks when the machine
is sending a fax.
5 Receive
indicator
The Receive indicator blinks when the
machine is receiving a fax.
6 Memory
indicator
The Memory indicator blinks when the
machine is accessing to the hard disk, FAX
memory, optional FAX Backup kit, or USB
memory (generally available product).
7 Error indicator The Error indicator blinks when an error
occurs and the job stops.
8 Help key Press this key when you are not sure how to
use the machine.
The Help screen will appear.
9 Logout key Press this key to terminate (log out) of the
Account management screen.
10 Energy Saver
key
Press this key to place the machine in the low
power mode.
11 Power key Press this key to place the machine in the
sleep mode or to turn off the main power.
12 Main power
indicator
The Main power indicator lights when the
main power of the machine is turned ON.
13 Status/Job
Cancel key
Press this key to check the send status or job
log, or to stop the current job.
14 Program key Press this key to program transmission
contents.

Display key
Press this key to enlarge the touch panel
display.
16 Document Box

Press this key to use the FAX Box.
17 Send/FAX key Press this key to use the machine as FAX.
18 Touch panel Touch the touch panel to operate the FAX.
19 Clear key Press this key to clear entered destination,
number, or text.
