2.2 INTRODUCTION
The GE313 is ideal to use for Single Door Access Control and Time & Attendance. The GE313 has four input
ports, two Form-C relay outputs, two TTL outputs, RS232/RS485 communication port and optional TCP/IP
communication port to meet various customer requirements. This user-friendly device allows you to register up
to 10,000 Users and can be stored up to 20,000 event transactions. All Events can be uploaded and saved to the
database of the host PC and the software creates the report to MS-Excel, HTML and Text files for the Time &
Attendance purpose. The GE313 has a built-in proximity card reader with IDC 26-bit Wiegand format and it has
24 keypads (10 Numeric keys, 2 Control keys and 12 Function keys) for wide applications. The GE313 allows to
access the door with only a proximity card or both proximity card and password. The GE313 has four external
input ports to be connected to an exit button, motion detector, door contact sensor and existing alarm system to
prevent unauthorized access. The GE313 has a door relay to control the door lock and an alarm relay to warn any
error. The graphic LCD display supports 6 different languages so that the unit can be operated anywhere in the
world. All setup menus can be programmed through the front keypads or via Windows-based software program.
The GE313 is a cost effective system to be used for Standalone or network. Dual tamper switches prevent
unauthorized access.
