9.2.4 READER#2 MODE
READER#2 MODE setting is the same as 9.2.3 READER#1 MODE setting.
9.2.5 READER#1 PIN INPUT

READER#2 PIN INPUT setting is the same as 9.2.5 READER#1 PIN INPUT setting.
9.2.7 COMMUNICATION ADDRESS SETTING
. ☞ The default Communication Address is “000” and set a different COMM Address for each unit in the loop.
☞. This function is for USE/UNUSE the keypad inputs for the Reader#1. The default setting is UNUSE the
keypad inputs. If you want to access the door by entering the user ID by keypad, set this mode USE. You
have to set this mode USE when the unit is operating with Password.
Note: READER#2 is an external Exit reader of the unit.
ID(PIN) ONLY: The door is accessible by just presenting the proximity card(or Press the ID Number).
ID+ P/W: The door is accessible by presenting a card and Password.

9.2.8 BAUD RATE SETTING
☞. GE314 supports 9600, 19200, 38400 and 57600bps of Baud Rate and default Baud Rate is 9600bps. Wrong
Baud Rate setting will cause communication error and you have to set same Baud Rate for the same
communication network.
If you have communication problem, please check followings;
- Check Communication Address for both GE314 and the host PC (Software)
- Check Baud Rate for both GE314 and host PC
- Check Communication Port and Cable
- Check COM port setup of the host PC
