EXISTING CONSTRUCTION (JOIST/ABOVE CEILING ACCESS APPLICATION) INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
8.
Insert four hanger bars (C)
to
the housing (A).
9. Connect the round ductwork (not included)
to
the duct
adaptor (D) and secure with duct tape (not included) or
clamps (not included). Then attach the duct adaptor
(D)
to
the housing (A) by inserting the hooks
of
the duct
adaptor (D) into the slots
on
the housing (A), and using
the duct adaptor screw (II), tighten the duct adaptor
screw (II) securely.

Place two clips (BB) along the bottom edge
of
each
side
of
the housing (A). Place the housing (A) into the
opening, then mount the housing (A) to the joist.
Note: The clips (BB) will ensure the bottom edge
of
the
housing (A) is flush with the ceiling board.
