MUST HAVE ACCESS TO THE ATTIC
BEFORE INSTALLATION: Turn off power source. Review all
safety precautions. Remove existing fan.

1. Measure the opening to ensure it is large enough to
accommodate the new fan housing (A) (9 in. x 9 in.).
2. If this fan is not replacing an old fan, be sure to cut a
9 in. x 9 in. opening for the fan housing (A).
MAKE SURE ONE EDGE OF THE OPENING IS FLUSH
WITH JOIST FOR INSTALLATION FROM BELOW.

INSTALLATION FROM ABOVE WITH SUSPENSION
BRACKETS (ATTIC ACCESSIBLE) ONLY IF UNABLE
TO ATTACH DIRECTLY TO THE JOIST(S)

3. Place LED panel mounting bar (B) on fan housing (A)
and attach where indicated using long machine screws
(EE).

4. Attach the duct connector (I) to the fan housing (A).

5. Insert suspension bracket I (F) into the bracket cover
on the duct connector side. Then, attach suspension
bracket II (G) and suspension bracket III (H) to the back
of the fan housing (A).
