You can select Simplified Chinese or English.

If you select English, the phone will set the default inputting method to

English (while the inputting method is “ON”, and refer to “Inputting

settings”.

If you select Simplified Chinese, the phone will set the default inputting

method to simply PINYIN. If the corresponding inputting method is “OFF”,

the defaulted inputting method will be the next available inputting method.

4.4.7 Display

You may set the display for the LCD screen as follows:

Backlight

ÆSettingsÆDisplayÆBacklight

When you highlight this option, its current setting will be displayed in the

adjacent bubble.

If the Backlight is not set to OFF, the LCD screen and keypad will light

when you press keys or the phone receives a call or message.

The following options are available:

OFF

Select this option to deactivate the backlight.

Battery Saving

In this mode, the backlight will last for 5 seconds after the last keystroke.

Normal

In this mode, the backlight will last for 15 seconds after the last keystroke.
