Warranty UView Ultraviolet Systems Inc. warrants the MiST™ Ultrasonic Unit to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 Year, except the piezo ultrasonic transducers, which are warranted for 90 days. UView Ultraviolet Systems Inc., at its sole discretion, will replace or repair any defective item within the Warranty period. UView Ultraviolet Systems Inc. must be contacted in the event of a warranty claim and UView Ultraviolet Systems Inc.
Important Safety Information MiST™ unit should never be operated when the unit is empty or when fluid level is below “minimum”. After every service, drain out any fluid and replace rubber cap. NOTE: Drain unit by tilting it forward, NEVER BACKWARDS! Certain cabin air filters need to be removed during operation, see “Identify the Vehicle’s Cabin Air Filter” on page 3. NEVER fill unit from the exhaust vent. Only use MiST™ Cleaning Solution designed for this unit to prevent any damage or void warranty.
Getting Started Congratulations on purchasing MiST™, the revolutionary In-Car Air Quality Service. Your MiST™ unit is designed so that you can set it up quickly and easily. By following the steps on the next few pages, you will have your MiST™ unit up and started in no time. Identify the Vehicle’s Cabin Air Filter REMOVE Cabin Air Filters that are operational during recirculation mode. These filters are normally located inside the vehicle’s passenger compartment.

1 2 Prepare Unit Before you begin, see the important safety information on page 2. Position Unit Place unit on the passenger side floor close to the firewall and point exhaust vent towards the vehicle’s air-intake. (Photo C) Remove cap and seal from cleaning solution bottle and screw the bottle on to the filling hole snuggly. Ensure the unit is level. Center air bubble. (Inset Photo C) Press bottle downward to compress the bottle and fill the unit.

3 4 Climate Control Adjust climate control to all of the following settings. Settings may differ between vehicle makes and models. Check owner’s manual for proper climate control operations. Power Unit Ensure vehicle is running and A/C is turned “ON”. Connect 12V DC connector into the vehicles 12V system. (Photo E) Power indicator light will illuminate red. (Inset, Photo E) Push the red START button.

5 6 Operation Close all windows. Exit vehicle. Close all doors. DO NOT ENTER OR OPEN DOORS during service. (Photo G) Finish Up Disconnect 12V DC connector. Dispose of any remaining cleaning fluid in regular drain. Service time is 14 minutes. G I H J Drain unit by tilting it forward, NEVER BACKWARDS. (Photo I) UNIT WILL SHUT-OFF AUTOMATICALLY and green operating light will blink. (Inset, Photo G) Insert air freshener vent clip as a finishing touch. (Photo J) Turn off vehicle.

Maintenance Upper Grill & Fan Upper Grill & Fan: The upper fan may build up residue and stick after extended use. This is normal. Spray lightly with water or gently rotate fan to free up mechanism. DO NOT USE WATER ON LOWER GRILL & FAN! Lower Grill & Fan: White dust may appear on the lower grill. This is normal. Brush or blow dust off – DO NOT USE WATER.
