Headphone output connector / optical audio (S/PDIF) output connector
• Connects to stereo headphones (mini plug) and to round optical digital sound
connectors. The iPhone‘s digital audio signal is output with DD (Digital-to-
Digital) conversion. By connecting to a device with a digital input connector,
the iPhone’s audio source can be dubbed or played over speakers in high
quality (48 kHz/16 bit) sound.
Volume knob
Adjusts the headphone volume.
Toggle switch
Sets the operation mode.
: HEADPHONE AMP function on
: In addition to the AMP function, the VAMP internal battery
charges the iPhone .
: Used to turn off the VAMP or sync with the computer and
charge the iPhone with a USB connection to the computer.
Mini-USB port
RESET switch
Resets and initializes the VAMP.
When resetting, set the ON/OFF switch to ON and then set it back to OFF.
* VAMP will not run if the switch is left to ON. Always return the switch to OFF.
* See Settings for more information about setting GAIN and RESET.
GAIN switch
Switches the headphone output gain between HI (high) and LO (low).
