4 Programme overview
4.2 Textile programmes
Touch the button for the selection of textile programmes.

Coloureds: Standard programme 1–8 kg
Woollens: Gentle treatment for woollens and other delicate textiles.
Only for woollens with a felt-free finish and labelled as «machine
washable».
1–2.5 kg
Hand wash: Very gentle treatment for textiles labelled with the
fabric care symbol.

Shirts: Optimized for minimizing creasing, contains steam anti-
crease.

Down: Optimized for the particular wetting characteristics of down
fabrics. Short spin at the beginning of the programme to get rid of
any air in down textiles.

Outdoor garments: For waterproof and breathable clothing. Higher
water level during washing and spinning.

Silks: For delicate silk articles. Spin speed is reduced to minimize
creasing.
1–1.5 kg
Net curtains: Reduced washing action for very gentle treatment.
Higher water level during washing and spinning. The washing re-
mains lying in the water after the final rinse (stop after rinsing).

Baby garments: Very thorough rinsing for the protection of sensitive
baby skin. If 95°C is selected as the temperature, a pre-wash is in-
cluded.

Denim: Optimized for colour loss (colour run) from denim. 1–4 kg
FirstWash: Quick wash cycle for new textiles. Add only a very small
amount of washing detergent! Not suitable for woollens and hand
wash!

Underwear: For very delicate textiles labelled with the fabric
care symbol e.g. underwear.
