5.15 With childproof lock activated
Selecting programme
How to turn the childproof lock on/off is described in «User settings».
▸ Close the appliance door.
– The input field for the code appears
in the TouchDisplay.

▸ Touch the digits 7, 3, 1 in sequence.
▸ Touch the button.
– The appliance is unlocked.

▸ Touch the button for the desired pro-
gramme.
– Further steps can be taken without
further regard to the childproof lock. If
no programme selection is made
within the next 20 seconds, the input
field for the code appears in the
TouchDisplay again.
After being unlocked, the appliance can be operated normally. The childproof lock is
automatically activated as soon as the programme starts.

▸ Touch the digits 7, 3, 1 in sequence.
▸ Touch the button.
– The appliance is unlocked.
▸ Touch the button repeatedly until «Drain-
ing» appears in the TouchDisplay.
– The appliance door opens.
5.16 Drum illumination
The drum illumination automatically switches on whenever the appliance door is opened
and switches off when it is closed. If the appliance door is left open, the drum illumina-
tion switches off automatically within 2 minutes.
▸ Touch the button to switch the drum illumination on or off when the appli-
ance door is open.
If the appliance door is opened during or at the end of the standard programme,
the drum illumination does not switch on automatically because this is the most
energy-efficient programme and the energy requirements are reduced to a min-
imum.
