5 Operating the appliance
Stop after rinsing
The washing remains lying in the water after the final rinse. The water must be drained
off before the washing can be unloaded.
▸ Touch the button 1x.
– The washing is spun at the spin speed set for the programme.
– The water is pumped off.
Or:
▸ Touch the button 2x.
– The washing is not spun.
– The water is pumped off.
Hygiene recommendation
Washing almost exclusively with low temperatures will result in the formation of foul
smelling coatings in the appliance.
To prevent this, a «Hygiene recommendation» indicates when a wash of at least 60°C
or carrying out the «Appliance hygiene» programme is recommended for hygiene reas-
ons.

▸ Run the next wash cycle at least at
60°C.

Each time after use
▸ Clean the detergent compartments (see page 32).
▸ To allow the washing drum and door seal to dry between wash days, open
the appliance door and pull the detergent dispenser drawer out as far as it
will go.
▸ Carefully remove any deposits or foreign objects from out of the door seal.
Incorrect handling can result in damage to the appliance!
The drum illumination is located in the door seal. Care must be taken when clean-
ing the door seal to avoid damaging the drum illumination.
