10.7 Opening the appliance door in the event of a power failure
Wait until the washing drum is completely stationary. A washing drum that is still
rotating poses a risk of serious injury.
▸ Close the water tap and disconnect the appliance from the mains.
▸ Open the drain tray with the flap for liquid detergent.
▸ Fold the drain tray right down. If necessary, carry out emergency
draining.

▸ Remove drain tray.
▸ Remove the emergency door release tool 1 from its bracket.

▸ Insert emergency door release tool into blue opening cap2 and
turn in direction of arrow.

The appliance door springs open.
If the emergency door release tool is missing, a screw driver can be used instead.
