11 Trouble-shooting
Problem Possible cause Solution
At the end of the
programme, the
appliance door
cannot be opened
with the but-
ton.
▪ The appliance door is
stuck.
▸ Press hard against the lock area of
the appliance door (i.e. front edge of
appliance door).
▸ Touch the button again.
▪ An interruption in the
power supply.
▸ Use the emergency door release
(see page 35).
Water sounds
after programme
has finished when
washing drum is
turned by hand.
▪ The vanes are filled with
water to compensate
the unbalanced load.
▸ The water is automatically pumped
off. No action is necessary.
Traces of condi-
tioner or water in
fabric conditioner
compartment.
▪ Siphon in fabric condi-
tioner compartment is
missing or not inserted
correctly.
▸ Insert the siphon correctly (see page
32).
▪ Siphon or suction tube
is clogged.
▸ Clean siphon and suction tube (see
page 32).
Traces of powder
detergent in deter-
gent compartment.
▪ Damp or lumpy washing
detergent.
▸ Store washing detergent in a dry
place.
▪ Detergent compartment
was damp and a
delayed start was selec-
ted.
▸ Wipe detergent compartment dry be-
fore adding the detergent.
▪ Water flow pressure is
too low.
▸ Open water tap fully.
▪ Water inlet is scaled up. ▸ Check water supply and, if neces-
sary, clean the water inlet filter (see
page 33).
▪ Flap 1 was inserted in
position b for liquid de-
tergent.
▸ Pull flap 1 upwards and out of posi-
tion b and insert (see page 17) in
position a.
