Result Possible cause Solution
Grey residue on
washing
▪ Grease and dirt
particles left behind.
▪ Residue from detergent,
limescale and dirt
▸ Increase detergent dosage.
▸ Use heavy-duty washing detergent.
▸ Adjust amount of detergent to water
hardness and degree of soiling of
washing (see page 18).
▪ Washing drum is over-
loaded.
▸ Put less laundry into the washing
drum (see page 16).
Washing feels
hard
▪ Poor rinsing effect
through very soft water
(below 15 °fH).
▸ Select user setting «Soft water» (see

Unsatisfactory
wash result using
detergent for col-

bleach.
