5 Operating the hob
Ending the operating duration before time
▸ Hold the cooking zone with an active operating time de-
pressed for 1second or touch 2×.
▸ Touch .
– The operating time is reset to «0h00».
▸ Confirm the entry with .

When the operating time is up
– the relevant cooking zone switches off
– an acoustic signal is emitted
– «00s» flashes below the cooking zone.
▸ Touch the cooking zone to switch off the acoustic signal
and display.

5.9 Cooking functions
Melting With the melting function, butter, chocolate or honey, for in-
stance, can be gently melted at approx. 42°C.
Keep warm The keep warm setting keeps cooked food warm at approx.
65°C.
Simmering With the simmer function, sausages, dumplings and stuffed
pasta, for instance, can be cooked just below boiling point.
Switching the cooking function on
▸ Hold the cooking zone depressed for 1second or touch
2×.
▸ Select the «Cooking functions» menu item with or .
▸ Make selection and confirm with .

– If no other entry is made and the other cooking zones
are switched off, the appliance switches off after
