13 Trouble-shooting

Descaling failed.
Appliance has not been descaled.
Possible cause Solution
▪ Used unsuitable descaler.
▸ Descale again using the recommended de-
scaler.
▪ Descaling was not carried
out correctly.
▸ If the message does not disappear after re-
peating the descaling process several times,
note down the error message in full and the
serial number (FN; see identification plate).
▸ Call Customer Services.
13.2 After a power failure
The user settings remain unchanged.
Brief power failure during operation
– The current operation of the appliance is aborted.
– The following appears in the display when the appliance is switched
on: «Power failure. Operation aborted».
▸ To confirm the message, select .
– The operating modes menu appears in the display.
Brief power failure during descaling
– The descaling process is interrupted.
– The following appears in the display when the appliance is switched
on: « Power failure. Continuing descaling.»
▸ To confirm the message, select .
– The descaling process continues.
