Emergency draining

In the event of a blocked water outlet or drain pump, a malfunction or a power failure,

if there is water still in the appliance it must be drained off as follows.

A Press in the direction of the arrow to open the

cover 1.

– The cover opens slightly.

A Pull the cover 1 right down.

– The cover also functions as a receptacle for the

water to be drained off.

A Release the foreign body trap 2 slightly by slowly

turning it anti-clockwise. Steadily drain off the

water.

A From time to time the cover may have to be emp-

tied. In which case, close the foreign body trap by

turning it clockwise and remove the cover from the

front.

A Empty the cover and then put it back in position again (push it straight in until it

clicks into position).

The water in the appliance may be hot – scalding hazard!

Allow to cool before emergency draining.

When draining off the water, the cover may be removed and a larger recept-

acle used in its place. The appliance can hold up to 30 litres of water.
