Remove the lock.
5.2. Recuperated steering wheel controls
Search point 0:
● Press the center of the rotary switch
● Turn to the stop clockwise
● Turn the ignition switch 2.5 turns anticlockwise
NOTE: Do not force when the stop is reached.
Check the alignment of the notch with the index finger.
CAUTION: Never turn anticlockwise before going to the stop, this irreparably damages the rotating
switch tape.
6. Common Operations
CAUTION: Position the wheels in a straight line.
Perform the following checks:
● Locking lances of the connectors must not be broken
● The electrical harnesses of the controls under steering wheel must not be damaged
Set up all the controls under steering wheel on the steering column by presenting it with the horizontal
levers.
Clipper the controls under steering wheel.
Steering wheel controls should be centered on the steering column to avoid amplifying noise.
Connect the connectors.
CAUTION: Do not pull excessively on the connectors; Do not bend bundles (curvature to be
respected); Take every precaution not to hurt the bundles (Do not twist the overmolded bundles).
Proceed in the reverse order of removal.
7. Complementary operations
Rest :
● Steering wheel speed controls (if equipped)
● The steering wheel
Reconnect the service battery.
Check the operation of the different equipment.
8. Vehicles equipped with ESP (Electronic Stability Program)
Calibrate the steering angle sensor; Using a diagnostic tool.
To carry out this operation, select the "Anti-lock wheels (ABS / ESP)" menu.
