Read these instructions carefully before
installation and use.

SAFETY WARNINGS
• Before use, the appliance must be fitted and properly
installed by a qualified electrician.
• Only connect the appliance to an alternate current power
supply, and make sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance.
• This hand drier must be installed out of reach of
persons using the bath or shower. Always
comply with the requirements of current
electrical system regulations.
• Make sure that the air inlet grills at the bottom of the
appliance are never obstructed.
• Do not use the appliance if any malfunction is noted or if
the power cable is damaged in any way.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must only be replaced
by a qualified technician.
• Never attempt to repair electrical appliances yourself, but
always contact a qualified technician.
• The elements used to pack the appliance (plastic bags,
cardboard box, etc…) must not be left within reach of
small children, as they are a potential source of danger.
• This appliance must only be used for the purposes for
which it has been specifically designed: to dry the hands.
Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore
dangerous. The manufacturer will not be considered
liable for any damage deriving from improper or incorrect
use of the appliance.
• Always warn children of the dangers of electrical
appliances, and of the safety precautions that must be
taken. Never leave electricalappliances within reach of
children.
IMPORTANT
This appliance complies with safety requirements for
electrical equipment.
This hand drier is fitted with a safety thermostat. It will
stop automatically if it overheats. After a short time it
will start up again.
Before use, make sure that the appliance air inlet grills
and the screen protecting the activating sensors are
perfectly clean.
The manufacturer will not be considered liable for any
damage to persons or property deriving from failure to
comply with the above recommendations, or improper use
of the hand dryer. This appliance conforms to European
Directives 2004/108/EC, 2006/95/EC, 2009/125/EC and
Regulation (EC) No. 1275/2008.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
To start the hand dryer, place your hands under the mouth,
just a few centimetres from the air outlet. The appliance
will turn off automatically when you remove your hands.
This hand dryer is fitted with an automatic device that turns
it off after approximately 2 minutes continuous operation. If
this happens, the appliance can be reactivated by removing
your hands from under the air outlet for a few seconds.
Cleaning and maintenance
Plastic components must be cleaned using a damped cloth.
WARNING: do not use abrasive products or chemical
detergents.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
WARNING: this operation must be carried out by a
qualified technician.
Check that the local power supply corresponds with the
one indicated on the rating plate.
The power supply network to which the appliance is
connected must be fitted with a omnipolarebeli switch. To
guarantee additional protection it is recommended that the
power supply system feeding the appliance be fitted with a
differential switch with a trip current not exceeding 30 mA.
For further information, please contact your electrician.
The appliance is destined for assembly and installation on
a wall only (vertical). The correct direction of installation is
with the air outletfacing downwards.
Before fitting, check that the appliance will not operate
continually due to the presence of reflective surfaces in the
vicinity that might interfere with the activating sensors.

This hand dryer is an approved product with protection
degree IP23 (EN60529). For installation specifications,
please refer to national regulations on the use and
installation of appliances with IP23 protection from
splashing. If the power cable with plug fitted to the
appliance is used, the power socket to which it is
connected must be out of reach of possible water splashes.
Mounting sequence
1. After establishing the position in which the appliance is
to be installed, drill 3 holes Ø 6 mm in the wall as shown
in fig. 1.
2. Dismantle the “T” bracket from the back of the
appliance, as shown in figure 2.
3. If the appliance is to be connected directly to the
power supply, the power cable fitted to the hand dryer
must be disconnected.
When installing in this way it is necessary to provide
an all-polar disconnection switch with a contact
opening ≥3mm upstreamof the appliance.
Pass the cables from the mains through one of the two
holes “A” or “B” in the “T” bracket and fix them to the
terminal (fig. 3). (L and N)
4. Fix the “T” bracket to the wall using the screws and
plugs provided (fig. 4).
5. Hang the appliance on the “T” bracket and fix it at the
bottom using the screw provided (fig. 5).
GUARANTEE
VALERA guarantees the appliance you have bought at
following conditions:
1. The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as
defined by our dealer in the country of sale. In
Switzerland and in the countries subject to the European
directive 44/99/CE the guarantee period is 24 months for
domestic use and 12 months for professional or similar
use. The guarantee period starts from the date of
purchase as stated on the present guarantee card
regularly filled out and stamped by the dealer or on the
sale’s invoice.
2. The guarantee is applicable only against submission of
the present guarantee card or the sale’s invoice.
3. The guarantee covers the elimination of all defects arisen
during the guarantee period resulting from proven faults
in material or workmanship. The elimination of the
defects will be made either by repairing the appliance or
exchanging it. The guarantee does not cover any
damage arising from incorrect connection to the power
supply, improper use, breakage, normal wear and non-
compliance with the Instructions for Use.
4. All other claims of any nature, including those for
eventual damages outside of the appliance, are
excluded, unless our liability is legally mandatory.
5. The guarantee service is carried out free of charge; it
does not affect the expiry date of the guarantee.
6. The guarantee becomes void if repairs are under-taken
by unauthorized persons.
For UK only: this guarantee in no way affects your rights
under statutory law.
In case of defect, please return the appliance well packed
and together with the guarantee card regularly dated and
stamped to one of our Valera Service Centres or to the
dealer who will send it to the official importer for the
guarantee service.

waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic

correctly, you will help prevent potential negative

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Vor dem Benutzen muss das Gerät ordnungsgemäß von
einem Fachmann installiert werden.
• Schließen Sie den Händetrockner nur an Wechselstrom an
und stellen Sie sicher, dass die Netzspannung auch
tatsächlich mit der am Gerät angegebenen Nennspannung
entspricht.
• Dieser Händetrockner muss so montiert werden,
dass er von einer Badewanne oder von einer
Dusche aus nicht erreicht werden kann. Beachten
Sie dabei die einschlägigen Vorschriften für
elektrische Anlagen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Luftansaugöffnung an der
Geräteunterseite nicht verdeckt wird.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es Störungen
aufweist oder das Anschlusskabel beschädigt ist.
• Sollte das Anschlusskabel beschädigt sein, darf es nur
durch eine Fachkraft ersetzt werden.
•Versuchen Sie nicht, elektrische Geräte selbst zu reparieren,
sondern wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft.
• Verpackungsteile des Gerätes (Plastiktüten, Kartons, usw.)
nicht in Reichweite von Kindern lassen. Sie stellen eine
potentielle Gefahr dar.
• Dieses Gerät darf nur für den Zweck benutzt werden, für
den es ausdrücklich bestimmt ist, nämlich zum Trocknen

Dieser Händetrockner ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz
ausgestattet; er schaltet sich bei Überhitzung automatisch
ab und nach einer kurzen Betriebspause auch automatisch
wieder ein. Vergewissern Sie sich vor jeder Benutzung,
dass die Ansauggitter und die Abdeckung der
Aktivierungssensoren sauber sind.
Bei Nichtbeachtung dieser Hinweise bzw. unsachgemäßem
Gebrauch des Händetrockners ist der Hersteller jeglicher
Haftung für allfällige Personen- und/oder Sachschäden
enthoben. Dieses Gerät erfüllt die Bestimmungen der
europäischen Richtlinien 2004/108/EG, 2006/95/EG,
2009/125/EG und der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1275/2008.
BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG
Zum Aktivieren des Händetrockners halten Sie die Hände
einige Zentimeter unter die Luftaustrittsdüse in den
Erfassungsbereich der Sensoren. Sobald Sie die Hände
wieder aus dem Erfassungsbereich der Sensoren ziehen,
schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab. Der Händetrockner
ist mit einer Automatik ausgestattet, die nach etwa zwei
Minuten Dauerbetrieb das Gerät abschaltet. In einem solchen
Fall genügt es, wenn Sie die Hände kurz wegziehen, damit
sich das Gerät wieder einschaltet.
Pflege und Wartung
Die Kunststoffteile nur mit einem angefeuchten Tuch reinigen.
ACHTUNG: zum Reinigen keine scheuernden oder
chemischen Produkte verwenden.
MONTAGEANLEITUNG
ACHTUNG: die Montage des Gerätes darf nur von einem
Fachmann ausgeführ werden.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die auf dem Geräteschild
angegebene Spannung mit derjenige Ihres Strometzes
übereinstimmt.
Im Stromkreis, an den das Gerät angeschlossen wird, muss
eine allpolige Trennung vorgesehen werden. Als zusätzlicher
Schutz wird die Installation einer Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung
mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als
30mA im Badezimmerstromkreisempfohlen. Lassen Sie sich
von Ihrem Elektroinstallateur beraten.
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für die feste Montage / Installation
an einer Wand (in vertikaler Position) bestimmt. Das Gerät

ist nur dann korrekt montiert, wenn die Luft nach unten
austritt. Stellen Sie vor der Montage sicher, dass das Gerät
nicht durch in der Nähe liegende, reflektierende Flächen, auf
die die Aktivierungssensoren ansprechen, im Dauerbetrieb
läuft.
Dieser Händetrockner ist ein Produkt mit der Schutzklasse
IP23 (EN60529). Für die installationsrelevanten Bedingungen
wird auf die nationalen Normen verwiesen, die die
Verwendung und Installation von Geräten mit IP23-Gehäuse
definieren. Falls der an das Gerät angeschlossene Stecker
verwendet wird, muss die entsprechende Steckdose
ausserhalb des Spritzbereiches liegen.
Montagevorgang
1. Festlegen, wo das Gerät installiert werden soll und 3
Löcher mit 6mm Ø bohren - siehe Abbildung 1.
2. Den T-förmigen Haltebügel auf der Geräterückseite wie in
Abb. 2 gezeigt abmontieren.
3. Soll das Gerät direkt an das Stromnetz angeschlossen
werden, muss die Zuleitung mit dem Stecker entfernt
werden. Bei dieser Art von Installation muss eine
vorgeschaltete, allpolige Trennung mit einer
Kontakttrennweite von > 3mm vorhanden sein. Die
Netzleiter durch eine der Bohrungen „A“ oder „B“ im
Haltebügel ziehen und an die Klemme anschließen
(Abb. 3). ( L und N ).
4. Den T-Bügel mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben, Unterlegscheiben
und Dübeln an der Wand befestigen (Abb. 4).
5. Das Gerät am T-Bügel einhängen und unten anschrauben
(Abb. 5).
GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
VALERA leistet für dieses Gerät - zusätzlich zu der gesetzlichen
Gewährleistung des Händlers aus Kaufvertrag -dem Endabnehmer
gegenüber eine Garantie zu nachstehenden Bedingungen:
1. Für dieses Gerät gelten die Garantiebedingungen unseres
Händlers im Verkaufsland. In der Schweiz und in den
Ländern wo die europäische Verordnung 44/99/CE gilt,
beträgt die Garantiezeit 24 Monate bei privatem Gebrauch
und 12 Monatebei gewerblichen oder einem solchen
gleichzusetzenden Gebrauch. Die Garantiezeit beginnt am
Kauftag des Gerätes, der durch diese ausgefüllte
Garantiekarte, oder einen sonstigen Kaufbeleg
nachzuweisen ist.
2. Die Garantie wird nur bei Vorlage dieser Garantie-Karte,
oder eines Kaufbeleges geleistet.
3. Die Garantieleistung umfasst die Behebung aller innerhalb
der Garantiezeit auftretenden Mängel des Gerätes, die
nachweislich auf Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern
beruhen. Die Behebung der Mängel kann nach unserer
Wahl durch Instandsetzung, oder durch Umtausch des
Gerätes erfolgen. Nicht unter Garantie fallen Mängel oder
Schäden, die durch nicht vorschrift-smässigen
elektrischen Anschluss, durch unsach-gemässige
Handhabung, sowie durch Nichtbeachtung der
Gebrauchsanleitung entstanden sind.
4. Weitere Ansprüche irgendwelcher Art, insbesondere
solche auf Ersatz ausserhalb des Gerätes entstandener
Schäden sind - soweit die Haftung nicht zwingend
gesetztlich angeordnet ist -ausgeschlossen.
5. Die Garantieleistungen werden ohne Berechnung
durchgeführt; sie bewirken weder eine Verlängerung noch
einen Neubeginn der Garantiezeit.
6. Diese Garantie erlischt bei Eingriff nicht autorisierter Stellen.
Sollten Sie die hiermit erteilte Garantie in Anspruch nehmen
müssen, dann senden Sie bitte das defekte Gerät gut
verpackt an eine unserer autorisierten Service-Stellen.
Vergessen Sie nicht, unbedingt diese Garantiekarte und/oder
den Kaufbeleg beizufügen,weil ohne diese keine
Garantieleistung erfolgen kann.

Das Symbol auf dem Produkt oder seiner Verpackung weist
darauf hin, dass dieses Produkt nicht als normaler
