Set-up Remote Control
The receiver and the handset of the remote control sys-
tem must be initially synchronized before the rst use.
1. Insert one 9 V alkaline battery in the handset.
2. Locate the Reset button on the top side of the
receiver.
3. With a sharp object, press and hold the receiver’s reset
button until you hear one short and one long beeps.
Release the reset button after the second beep.
4. Within the subsequent 20 seconds, press the (small
ame button ( ) on the remote handset until you
hear two short beeps con rming the synchronization
is set.
This is a one time setting only and is not required
when changing the batteries in the remote receiver.
The remote control system is now ready to use.
Installation
7. Reconnect the ignition wire to the receiver if it was
previously removed.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the ignition wire DOES
NOT TOUCH the receiver’s antenna.
8. Disconnect the battery box wire if already connected.
9. Remove the cover of the battery box (1 screw).
10. Insert four AA alkaline batteries in the battery box,
re t the cover and secure with the screw.
Note: Do not put batteries in the receiver, only
in the battery box.
11. Reconnect the battery box
and place it back in its carrier.
12. Slide the carrier towards
the right hand side so
that the battery box goes
outside of the appliance
case.
13. Test the operation of the
wall switch—see page 16.
14. Fix the wall cover plate to
the outlet box.
15. Re-attach the receiver to its Velcro bands and
replace the antenna if deployed.
CAUTION
To avoid short-circuit to the receiver, position
the antenna so that it DOES NOT TOUCH the
ignition wire.
