The daylily (Hemerocallis) is considered a “sure bet”

perennial, as they thrive throughtout most of the country, with

the exception of the deep south. They tolerate less then ideal

conditions and will bloom faithfully for years with virtually no

attention. As the name implies, daylily ﬂowers open in the

morning and die by nightfall. Each ﬂower stem typically has

at least a dozen ﬂower buds, and the plant stays in bloom

for many weeks. They should be planted in every garden.

About This Variety: There are thousands of named varieties, and we have selected three to make up our unique Candy mixture. Growing Instructions: Best planted in groups for dramatic effect in full sun, on moist, yet well drained soil. Excellent ground cover, as a single specimen or in mass plantings to create a focal point in the garden. Care Tip: They are tough robust plants, so not much can grow wrong.
