Use and Care Manual

About This Variety: This collection is a classic best choice. Four Trumpet lily varieties make up
this first grade collection: African Queen, Pink Perfection, Regale Album, and Golden Splendour.
For maximum versatility, the bulbs are individually packaged and labeled so that you can use them
as you wish. The huge flowers are trumpet shaped and fragrant on tall stems. They also naturalize
well, meaning that they will return for years to come with little to no effort.
Growing Instructions: Plant in well-drained soil where they will receive 6-8 hours of sun a day.
They are winter hardy and considered a strong perennial that can be left in the ground and will
re-bloom year after year if the conditions are right. Lilies perform best when mulched.
Care Tip: Lilies prefer cool soil, which argues for shade at their feet from low growing
companions. When cutting the flowers for bouquets, remove no more than 1/3 of the stem
so sufficient leaves remain to renew the bulb for the coming year.
