About This Variety: Plants of the genus Nymphaea are commonly known as Water Lilies. The roots are rhizomatous, growing rounded leaves and showy bowl/ star shaped flowers. Venusta, a hardy hybrid, produces rose-pink flowers that are fragrant and showy. This is a good choice for medium to large pools. Growing Instructions: Spring to summer is a good time to plant, as the water is warming up the plants should establish well. Pond plants generally prefer water temperatures above 60°F to initiate growth.
