Planting time: Indoors late fall through winter
Flowering time: 8-12 weeks after planting indoors
Height: 12-20” (30-51 cm)
Full Sun to Partial Shade
Planting instructions: Place a 2” (5 cm) layer of compost in a pot. Plant the
bulb pointed side up. Place the rest of the compost around the bulb and
press rmly. The top third of the bulb should be above the compost.
Choose a well lit spot away from direct sunlight with a room temperature of
68-75°F. Keep the compost moist but not waterlogged making sure
to water the compost and not the top of the bulb. When the ower bud
appears, watering may be needed more often but avoid waterlogging the
compost. Turn the pot regularly to prevent the ower spike bending towards
the light. For indoor use only. This amaryllis should be in bloom within
8-12 weeks of rst watering. All of our bulbs are grown from cultivated stock.
