Figure 0-1 shows the current Vanguard devices.

Note

The Vanguard Networks models 100, 305, 320, 340, and 6425/6430/6450 have

been sunset and are not covered in this manual.

Typical Daughtercard Installation Procedure Refer to Figure 0-4, and follow this procedure to install a voice daughtercard into a typical Vanguard Networks product (the Vanguard 340E/342 is shown): Step Action 1 Power down the unit and remove the cables and power cord. 2 Remove the motherboard. Caution Exercise extreme care, when sliding the motherboard out, to prevent components mounted to the underside of the board from being knocked off. 3 4 Place the motherboard on a clean flat surface.
