3.8.6. Entering Shot Description Information

A test shot stored in the DigiTMR’s EEPROM can also store breaker and other identification

information. Additional information usually consists of the company name, station, circuit,

manufacturer, breaker model number, breaker serial number, and the operator’s name. This

identification information is saved with the timing shot and also printed on the header section

of the tabulated report. The shot description information should be entered before performing

a test.

To enter shot description information:

a. Start from the “START-UP” menu:

Press the [3] Key (SET-UP).

b. The following screen will be displayed:

Press the [4] key (NEXT PAGE).

c. The following screen will be displayed:

Press the [1] key (SHOT DESCRIPTION).

d. The following screen will be displayed:

Type the company name by using the alpha-numeric keypad. To select a letter, press the

corresponding key multiple times until the desired letter appears on the screen. For

example, for the letter “A”, the

[2] key must be pressed twice. Press the [PAPER ∧

Contrast]

or [PAPER ∨ Contrast] key to move the cursor right or left, respectively.

Press the

[CLEAR] key to erase the character at the cursor position. Press the

[ENTER] key when you are done entering the company name.
