DIRECTIONS:
Use rubber gloves, a scoop, or a spreader when applying
VANQUISH calcium chloride pellets. Spread at the rate
of 2-4 oz. (1/4 - 1/2 cup) per sq. yd. Remove slush and
water to prevent penetration of porous areas and cracks in
the concrete, as continual thawing and freezing action can
cause damage to poor quality concrete. Do not place product
directly on or near vegetation as overapplication can cause
damage. Proper entrance matting is recommended in high
foot traffic areas. Overapplication may cause a slippery
surface.
NOTICE:
Seller makes no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the
results of the use of this product. Buyer assumes all risk of
use, handling, and storing of this product whether in
accordance with directions or not.
PRECAUTION:
VANQUISH calcium will not cause harm to properly mixed
(air entrained), poured, finished, and dried concrete. Do
not use on concrete less than 1 year old. VANQUISH will not
chemically attack concrete, however, natural freeze/thaw
cycles, as well as freeze/thaw cycles caused by deicing
material, can cause damage to poor quality concrete. This
product should not be used on precast concrete steps,
precast masonry walks or steps, brick, exposed aggregate
or on any questionable-quality concrete. This product should
not be overapplied. Excessive amounts may cause surface
flaking or scaling and increase the occurrence of
freeze/thaw cycles. It is recommended to remove all water
and slush resulting from the deicing process as removal will
decrease the frequency of freeze/thaw cycles. Also, all
deicing materials can cause damage to plants, vegetation,
and lawns when it is placed directly on, or very near the
vegetation itself. Vegetation damage is also more likely
when deicing products are overapplied. Correct application
rates should be used when placing the product on the
concrete surface. It is not recommended to use VANQUISH
on metal or wood surfaces. Also, avoid contact with
products made of leather material.
FIRST AID:
VANQUISH calcium chloride pellets are not for use with food
or drugs. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately
and do not induce vomiting unless recommended by a
physician. In the case of contact with the eye or eyes, flush
the affected areas for a minimum of 15 minutes and seek
medical attention if irritation persists.

STORAGE:
Tightly reseal the package after use. Any remaining calcium
chloride pellets should be stored in an area of low humidity.
Calcium chloride is hygroscopic and draws in moisture
from the air. If stored in an area of mid to high humidity,
water may pool at the base of the package which may cause
damage to flooring or carpeting. It may also cause
remaining product to harden and become difficult to spread.
DISPOSAL:
IN REFERENCE TO BOTH CONTAINER AND CONTENTS:
Dispose of product or empty container in accordance
with local, state, or federal regulations and laws.
The recommended option for disposal of unused/
uncontaminated product is to send it to a permitted,
licensed landfill.
