Child restraint system:
Vauxhall sa fety cradl e with
transponders

For babies aged up to 10 months or weighing
up to 10 kg.
The Vauxh all safety cradle with tra nspon ders
3 ca n be identifie d by a stic ker on the safety
cradle – see page 9 4.
Seat occupan cy recogn ition 3 – see page 90.
Vauxhall child restraint systems with
transponders 3 may also be fitted on the rear
seat.
Fastening the child's seat belt
Place child in sa fety cradle.
Join the two shoulder belts of the safety
cradle as shown in the illustration and engage
in belt buckle be twee n the child's legs.
Adapting to the child's size
The length an d heig ht o f t he be lts on the
safety cradle ca n be adjusted acc ording to
the child's size:
To adjust le ngth, pull belt strap at rear of
safety cradle or loosen it by pre ssing the
metal clip.
On vehicles with front passenger airbag 3
or side airbag 3 but without seat
occ upan cy reco gn iti on 3, do not fit a child
restraint system on the front passenger
seat, as this poses a danger to life .
In vehicles with front passenger airbag 3
or side airbag 3 and with seat occupancy
recognition 3, on ly V auxh al l ch il d r est ra in t
systems with transponders 3 may be fitted
on the front passenger's se at; using
systems without transponders poses a
danger to life.
The belt must fit snugly ac ross the child's
body with ou t be ing to o tigh t.
