Mount saf ety seat in direction of tra vel only
and lock both latch plates on sec uring
console audibly into belt buckle s on adapter.
Tug on the seat to c hec k that the belt has
en ga ge d pr ope rly.
Fastening the child's seat belt
Place child in sa fety sea t.
Insert safety base into recesses on seat
cushion.
Move the u pper a nchorage point of the
vehicle seat belt to its lowest position. Height
adjustmen t, see page 82.
In sert diagon al an d lap belts of vehicle seat
belt into belt guides on safety base.
In sert latch plate of vehicle seat be lt in buckle.
Removing the safety seat
Depress red pushbutton for each buckle on
ada pter. Detach safety seat from adapter –
see page 105, Fig. 10397 T.
Before removin g the adapter, disengage the
belt buckles from underneath.
