Exteri or mi rror s
For the safety of pedestrians, the exterior
mirr o rs will swin g ou t of t he ir n ormal mo un ti n g
posit ion if they are bumped with sufficien t
force. R eposition the mirror by applying slight
pressure to th e mirro r housing .
Aspherical exterior mirror
Increases the field of vision. Slight distortion
mean s tha t it is so mewh at difficu lt to e stimate
the distanc e bet ween the vehicle and those
behind it.
Active head restraints 3 on the
front seats
In the event of a rea r-e nd impact, the a ctive
head restraints on the front seats
automatically tilt forwards. The head is more
effectively supported by the h ead restraint
and the da nger of whiplash injury is reduced.
