If the windows do not move easily (e.g. on
ac count of f rost) , repeatedly pull the switch
for the window in question until the window
has been closed in st ages.
Child safety system for rear windows

windows cannot be operated with the
switch es in the rear doors.
z To right (green control indicator visible) :
rear windows can be operated with the
switch es in the rear doors.
Interruption of power supply
Automat ic opening and closing of the
windows is not possible after interruption of
the power supply or a drop in battery voltage.
Activate the window electronics as follows:
1. Close doors.
2. Switch on ignition.
3. Close window and h old switch pu lle d for at
least 5 seconds.
4. Repeat for eac h win dow.
Leaving the vehicle
The windows can still be operated af ter the
ignition has be en switched off. Onc e t he
doors have be en closed the window s can no
longer be operated from inside.
Closing windows from outside
The windows can be closed u sing the radio
remote control: Press button p until the
windows are closed
– or –
Hold the key in the driver’s door lock in the
door locking position until the windows are
closed.
Ov erload
If the system is overloaded, the power supply
is au to matic ally cu t o ff for a sh ort time.
The system is protected by fuses in the fuse
box, see page 184.
