Interruption of power supply
After interruption of the power supply or a
drop in battery voltage the desired sun roof
position is no longer set automatically. The
electronics of the sun roof must be
reprogrammed as follows:
1. Switch on ignition.
2. If su n roof is close d:
Set rotary switch to l and hold down for at
least 5 seconds.
If su n r o of is open :
Set rotary switch to l, press until sun roof
is closed, and then continue to hold down
rotary sw itch for at least 5 se conds.
3. Set ro ta ry swit ch t o q, press unt il sun ro of
is raised, then set switch to l and press
until sun roof is closed.
4. Set rotary switch to ü and press until
sun roof is fully raised. Then set rotary
switch to l and press until sun roof is
closed.
If automatic closing of the sun roof is not
possible af ter programming, repeat ste ps
3and4.
Fa u lt
If the electric drive fails: the system is
protec ted by a fuse in the fuse box; see page
184. Un til the f ault is remedied, ope rate the
roof as follows:
Push drive cove r to rear an d re move.
Compress sprung cen tral se ction of drive
shaft with screwdriver and turn drive shaft.

Reduces intensity of sunlight shining onto
rear se ats. Operation w ith ignition switch ed
on.
Raise blind = Press N
Lower blind = Press N aga in
Do not operate blind if there are objects lying
in front of the rear window.
