4. Detach plug connector from bulb base.
5. Press spring clip out of retaining lugs and
swivel out.
6 . Re mo ve bu lb f rom reflec to r ho using .
7. When installing new bulb, engage fixing
lugs of bulb holder in recesses on reflector,
wit ho ut touc hing t he glass.
8. Swivel sprin g clip bac k into plac e an d
engage in retaining lugs.
9.Attach connector to bulb.
10.P lace headlamp protect ive cover in
posit ion and close.
11.Mount hea dlamp protective cover an d
sec ure with rotating lock.
Main beam
1. Open bonnet.
2. Remove headlamp protective cover – see
pa ge 18 8, Fig . 7490 V.
3. Remove he adlamp protective cap – se e
pa ge 18 8, Fig . 7253 V.
4. Push bulb on plug connector downwards
and remove from reflector housing.
5.Detach plug connector from bulb base.
6 . Fit co nn ector o nt o new bu lb, with ou t
touching the glass.
7. Inse rt bulb with connector so that lug on
bulb socket engages in recess in reflector.
8. Place headlamp protective cove r in
position and close .
9. Mount h eadlamp protective cover and
se cure with rota ting lo ck.
