Before driving off check:

z Engine oil level and fluid levels in engine

z All windows, mirrors, exterior lighting and
number pla tes are free from dirt, snow and
ice and operational.
z Do not place an y objects in front of the rear
window, on the instrument panel or in the
are a in which the a irbags infla te.
z Seats, se at belts and mirrors a re correctly
adjusted.
z Brake operation.
Exh aust gases are poison ou s
Ex haust gase s contain carbon monoxide,
which is extremely poisonous but has no
odo ur or c olo ur.
Therefore ne ver inhale ex haust gase s, an d
neve r run the engine in an e nclosed space .
You should also avoid driving with the boot
lid/tailgate open, as exh aust gases could
enter the pa ssenger compartment.
