Correcting time 3
To correc t the time, use R DS in t he Time /Date
menu to select Auto. Tim e Correction.
The field be hind Auto. Time Correction will
be ticked.
Check control 3
The check control mon itors fluid levels, f ront
disc brake pad thickness, the functioning of
th e au to matic tran smission 3 and the
automatic headlamp range adjustment 3 as
well as important exterior lamp bulbs,
including the wiring an d fu ses. In the case of
the bulb monitoring system, a fault is not
in dic ated un le ss th e releva nt circuit is
switch ed on.
Once the ignition has been switch ed on , a ll
check control functions are automatically
verified.
If all the monitored functions are OK, the
warning
Brake Lamp
Check
goes out after the brake pedal has been
de pr esse d on ce.
Fault w arnings appear in the display. On
vehicles with multi-information display,
CHECK also appears (not on vehicles with
ra dio tele phone). If the re are several fa ult
warnings, they are displa yed one a fter the
ot her .
Some of th e f ault war ni n gs a ppe ar on t he
display in an abbreviated form.
Figure 7570 V shows a fault warning in a
multi-information display.
Fault warnings:
Engine Oil
Le ve l
Engine oil level too low. Check oil level
immediately and top up oil – see page 200.
Coolant
Le ve l
Coolant level in expansion tank too low. Top
u p coolant – see pa ge 2 03. Consult a Vauxha ll
Dealership to have the c ause of the fault
rectified.
