The Vauxhall installation instructions and the
operat ing gu ide lines provided by the
telephone manufacturer must be observed
when fitting and operating a mobile
telephone. Failure to do so could render the
vehicle un roadwo rthy (EU Dire ctive 95 /54/
EG ).
Requirements to en sure trouble-free
operat ion:
z Professionally installed ext erior ae rial to
obtain the maximum range possible
z Maximum transmission power from 10 W
z Installation of the telephone in a suitable
spot (se e note o n page 92).

permissible mounting spots for the exterior
ae ria l or radio equipme nt holder as well as th e
possibilities for use of radio equipment (CB)
with transmission power greater than 10

installation.
Use a handsfree attachment if you must use
your phone while driving. Even with a
handsfree at tachment, the telephone could
distract you from the traff ic situation. Follow
the national regulations of the country in
whic h yo u are drivin g.
When used in the vehicle interior, mobile
telephones and radio equipment (CB) with
integrated aerial may cause malfunctions in
the vehicle e lectronics.
