Central locking system 3
For doors, boot lid/tailgate and tank flap.
To lock:
Press button p o n remo te cont rol un it
– or –
turn ke y in driver's door lock towards rear of
vehicle, the n turn it back to the vertical
position and remove; alternatively, when
locking from inside, press the lock button on
one of the f ront doors with the doors closed.
To un l o c k:
Press button q on remote control unit
– or –
tu rn key in driver's doo r lock towards f r on t o f
vehicle, then turn it ba ck t o the vertical
position a nd remove ; alternatively, when
unlocking from inside, pull up the loc k button
on driver's door.
Note
To pre vent the driver from being inadvertently
locked out, the button on the driver's door
cannot be depressed when the door is open.
If the driver's door is not closed properly, the
central locking system will unlock again
immediately after locking.
To lock the doors from the inside (e.g. when
stopped at traffic lights), press down the lock
button on the driver's door.
Locked doors are u nloc ked automatic ally in
the even t of an acciden t ( to allow assistance
from outside), provided that the ignition is not
switched off.
