Luggage compartment c over 3

Closing

Pull the handle back to its stop and engage

the cove r in t he retainers at the sides.

Do not place an y heavy or sharp-edged

objects on the cover.

Openi ng

Deta ch the cove r f rom the re tainers and push

it towards the seat backrest.

Re mo vin g

Push the c ove r forward towards the seat

ba ckr est .

Pull folded-together cover towards the rear

into the two sh ort guides on th e rails as far as

it will go.

Pull cover together with guides rearwards

aga inst spring f orce, as shown in illustration.

Twist the cover with the two guides upwa rds

and remove it by pushing it forward – see

Fig. 75 32 V.

Fitting

Reverse sequen ce of operat ions to reinstall

cover, e nsu ring tha t the short guides engage

properly in the rails.

If ind ividu al rib s sl ip ou t of the sh ort gu ides

wh en the cover h as been removed:

1.Detach all ribs from the two guides by

pressing the locking devices.

2. Insert the ribs in the right and left-hand rails

simultaneously with the flattened ends fac -

ing up. P ush the cover forward.

3. Insert short guides in rails from below

against spring f orce.
