CAN YOUR CAR KEEP UP?
Opel specializes in features that make today’s cars safer, more versatile, more user-friendly –
and more fun to drive. Our innovations have also had a significant impact as car manufacturers
everywhere seek to reduce fuel consumption. Here are just some of the great ideas that make your
Opel such a pleasure to own.

Keyless Open and Start. The ideal feature when you’re in a hurry. User Identi-
fication Interface technology recognizes when your key is very near the car
and automatically opens the door when you work the handle. Push-button ig-
nition is also easy and key-free.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). An optional, advanced, radar-based version
of conventional cruise control for preventing bumper-to-tail collisions up to
180 km/h. ACC automatically maintains a safe gap to the vehicle in front. With
automatic transmissions, its Stop/Go feature makes light of very slow-moving
traffic. Page XX.
Radar-based driver aids. Optional Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic
Alert and Lane Change Alert make driving safer and easier in a variety of driv-
ing and parking situations, by monitoring hard-to-see areas to the side and
rear of your car. Page XX.
