3.11 Imaging
Typical use of the Vave Probe is five continuous scanning minutes followed by 10 minutes in standby mode
(or turned o).
3.11.1 Imaging Mode: B-Mode
When you start an exam, the Vave Probe defaults to
B-Mode (brightness mode). Sometimes referred to
as 2D Mode, this two-dimensional imaging mode
displays in grayscale.
3.11.2 Imaging Display Overview
The imaging display screen includes an ultrasound image in the center of the screen, exam information (patient
name, MI and TI values), image information (preset, frame rate), gallery icon, capture bar, and mode bar.
These display features are labeled in the following figures:
3.11.3 Preset
From the imaging screen, change presets by tapping
the preset setting in the right corner or going back
to the preset screen.
