When using the vacuum cleaner basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following: 1. Only use the vacuum cleaner indoors on dry surfaces. 2. Turn off the on/off switch on the vacuum cleaner controls before disconnecting or connecting from the mains supply. 3.
Getting Started PLEASE READ SAFETY INFORMATION BEFORE USE (p3) Before plugging the cord into the electrical outlet, make sure the switch is in the ‘off’ position. Looking After Your Machine – Filters WARNING: Always switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical socket before assembling, opening or empting the dirt container, or before connecting/disconnecting the attachments. IMPORTANT: Wash filters with warm water (40°C max) at least every 3 months for best cleaning results. Do not use your vacuum cleaner without all of the filters in place. IMPORTANT: The motor is equipped with a thermal cut-out.
Looking After Your Machine – Removing Blockages IMPORTANT: If the air inlet, hose or telescopic tube is blocked, switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove the blockage(s) before re-starting the vacuum cleaner. Re-setting the brushbar To reset press the RED button in the middle of the floorhead. A RED flashing light will indicate a jammed brushbar. A GREEN flashing light indicates no blockages in the brushbar.
