Getting started Using your machine PLEASE READ ‘LET’S TALK SAFETY’ AT THE BEGINNING BEFORE USE Before you begin cleaning Please remove any large objects or debris prior to using your Floormate Trio. IMPORTANT: Only use Vax hard floors cleaning solution. Using other solutions may cause excess foaming. Excessive foam will prevent the machine from working effectively. Using other solutions will invalidate the guarantee.
Using your machine Using your machine Note: The recovery tank has an automatic shut off to prevent the tank from overflowing. If this is activated, the machine will not pick up and the sound of the motor will change. The recovery tank will need to be emptied. Using your machine TIP Emptying the recovery tank To remove recovery tank, press down on release button and pull Remove recovery tank lid to empty We recommend that the recovery tank is emptied after dry pick up and before wet operation.
Taking care of your machine Taking care of your machine Cleaning the nozzle 40˚C MAX The clean water tank contains a washable filter. Clean this filter when suction is low. Pull open the filter lid gently to remove the filter for cleaning Rinse under water to remove debris (max. 40°C) and leave for at least 24 hours or until fully dry before replacing in the machine Nozzle can be removed for easy cleaning.
What to do if it goes wrong Problem Why won’t my Floormate switch on? Getting in touch Solution • Check the fuse in the plug. Always replace the fuse in the plug with a British 13amp fuse. • Empty recovery tank, remove any debris from filter. If washing filter allow 24 hours to fully dry before refitting. Why won’t my Floormate pick up? • The recovery tank has an automatic shut off to prevent the tank from overflowing.
