- Operation Assembling your steam mop To reduce the risk of personal injury, unplug the steam mop when assembling. Insert the handle into the connector tube at the top of your steam mop. Ensure the locking tab locks into place (you should hear a click). Before you begin cleaning IMPORTANT: Do not use hot or boiling water to fill clean water tank. Do not overfill the water tank. Always ensure there is water in the clean water tank.
Operation Steam cleaning hard floors Vacuum floors throughly before using the steam mop. Never leave the steam mop in one spot on any surface for an extended period of time with a damp or wet microfibre cleaning pad attached as this may damage the floor surface. Your steam mop should only be used on sealed floors including tiles, lino, wood flooring and laminate. Do not operate/use steam mop without water in clean water tank.

Your measuring jug is fitted with a hard water filter. Depending on water hardness and/or frequency of use, the filter should be changed every 6 months.
